When we’re not shuttling to activities or competitions for one of our five kids, you’ll probably find us sneaking off to an amusement park or gaming together. When my husband is away on orders (Senior Chief, US Navy), I fill the quiet with creative hobbies like embroidery and painting, though I have been known to completely redecorate our home in his absence.

Outside Mutual I’m spending time with my two boys, coaching youth sports, and telling dad jokes. I’ve also never turned down an open mic at karaoke night, with Barry Manilow and Neil Diamond as two of my go-to artists.

Outside Mutual Outside of Mutual, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids. My hobbies include running, camping, skiing, and adventure motorcycling. I’m a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve with over 25 years of service and 2 tours in Afghanistan. I enjoy the kind of cooking that makes all the messes, uses all the dishes, and leads to best kinds of meals.

We also can’t forget our fur-babies, Shadow (Australian Shephard) and Chip (short-hair, domestic cat) ( they are a true Milo & Otis team!). I enjoy spending most of my free time reading, cooking and playing games of all varieties.

Outside Mutual I enjoy watching my three daughters—and now my granddaughter—spread their wings and build their own lives. Seeing them grow into strong, capable women is incredibly rewarding and keeps me busy in the best way. With my home now mostly empty, I’ve fully embraced being a devoted “furry mom” to my 11-year-old Ollie. I’ve also started spending more time with nature, growing vegetables and flowers in my yard—there’s something special about seeing that progress firsthand. On my bucket list is learning how to work with stained glass and creating something truly beautiful.

We go beyond discussing solutions; we help advisors move from theory to execution through a consultative approach to implementation in areas like administrative outsourcing, paraplanning, and third party managers. By understanding the success stories of our advisors, I help develop strategies that bring real-world awareness and education to our entire community.
Outside Mutual My true foundation is my family. I am married to my beautiful bride, a dedicated kindergarten teacher, and we are blessed with three wonderful children. My commitment to growth starts at 4 a.m. with a workout in a men’s group dedicated to mutual improvement—built on the principle that “iron sharpens iron.” Tackling the hardest part of my day first instills a discipline that I carry into my work. As a family, we are passionate about strengthening other families and the underprivileged through ministry. I value being an engaged husband and father, spending my time with family and in community with others.

Every Day After joining Mutual Group in April 2024, I’ve had the privilege of working with the other members of the Mutual Group Executive Leadership Team to execute the vision of our CEO, Aaron Jasper, and make his vision become reality.
I Power Success through personal relationships by leveraging my Responsibility, Belief and Woo strengths. My Responsibility strength reminds me to be dependable, take ownership and stay true to my word. My Belief strength provides me with a strong sense of purpose in life. And finally, my Woo strength allows me to connect with new people.
Outside Mutual Like most of us, I enjoy spending time with my family. Our two youngest children are finishing college while our oldest daughter is married and lives in Phoenix, AZ. Outside of family, I enjoy listening to Frank Sinatra and the masterful storytelling his songs represent: the peace and reflection of a long walk-in-the-park; the pageantry of connecting with lifelong friends during SEC football games on the campus of the University of Missouri; and most of all, a happy hour martini with my wife, to end every workday I was privileged to be a part of😊.
